The Mightiest Pen for Hire – SteveEgglestonWrites.com

By Matt Mellen

Control the narrative and you control reality. Stories are the fundamental unit of human culture. They literally make the world go round. Steve Eggleston not only understands this, he has created a business around it. The results are staggering. The individual can make a difference. With the support of such an accomplished expert, and with passion, focus, and a clear mission — no story is too big, too small, or too complicated. If you have a story to tell but are unsure how to get it out into the world, here is a one-man powerhouse who will find your story, tell your life in words, and conjoin the two poignantly to the page.

“I’ve literally been writing all my life,” says Eggleston when I asked him how he got started. “But it you had to put a starting line to it, I would go back to sixth grade, when I was 12. My father was stationed at Westover Air Force Base in Puerto Rico (he was a B52 pilot), and my best friend, Gary Canzoneri, needed to do a semester report. Why I offered to do it for him, I do not know, but I did, and my mission was to handwrite a 100-page report on the USSR – the United Soviets Socialist Republic – against whom America was in a deep-freeze cold war. My parents had the full Encyclopedia Britannica series, so I needed to go no further than the bookshelf in our house.”

Eggleston currently writes between Las Vegas, San Francisco, and a cottage in Somerset, England, where he is married to the love of his life, Dana Amma Day. Somerset is a long way from the metropolitan city, but precisely where the annual festival juggernaut called Glastonbury takes place. Perhaps it isn’t a coincidence that Steve has found himself on this hallowed magical Avalon turf. His life has been a riot of colour, music, adventure and professional success, with the Internet Age enabling him to pursue his craft anywhere in the world. “All I need is a laptop, a keyboard, preferably a roller mouse, and an internet connection,” he says, “and I can brew up a wonderful story, shine light in dark places, and enable people to publish works like memoirs, biographies, original fiction stories, inspirational self-helps, you name it.”

He is taking on commissions to write and the results are impressive to say the least. His first fiction book, the legal thriller that put him on the map for fiction and inspired-by true crime stories, is Conflicted.  “Actually, Matt, we’ve started with one I wrote entirely myself, except with the regular critical input of my lifelong best friend, John Neyer. I fully rewrote Conflicted three times,” laments Eggleston. “I wrote it in three different tenses – past, present, and present progressive – and from several different points of view – third person, first person lawyer, first-person detective and best friend – before landing on first-person detective-best friend present tense progressive.” Sounds complicated, but Eggleston explains that “writing a God’s honest book with publication potential, is one dash hard science, one dash inspired art, and one shake of never-say-die.”

In doing the research on Conflicted, you can see how important it is for a writer to get that big break. For Eggleston, it was a review from a well-known author. “The legendary Peter Miller was my literary manager, and because of his gravitas (one of his early books was Vincent Bugliosi’s Helter Skelter, the #1 true crime story of all time), we submitted it to 17 x New York Times legal thriller bestseller, John Lescroart. Because Peter was behind me, John agreed to read it and then boom, the review came back and I was literally in tears. Lescroart emailed me, ‘Dear Steve – Killer book. I loved every page of it. For attribution, use any or all of the following: As a San Francisco legal thriller guy myself, I can promise you that Steve Eggleston’s CONFLICTED is a total winner on every level. Great courtroom stuff, great characters, great plot, narrative mega-drive and — in Dave Splatter, P.I. — a stand-alone hero for the ages. All the best, John.”

The Food Mafia (Steve’s third book) further illustrates the power of a good review. Based on the Lescroart review and a personal read of Conflicted, motion-picture veteran Jon Gordon reached out to Steve to help him tell the Clemmy’s Ice Cream saga. At the time, Jon was reeling from a sustained and vicious attack from corporate giants fighting dirty to protect their profits. He had launched a truly sugar-free, gluten-free ice cream which in his opinion threatened the Food Mafia’s absolute control of the processed food market. It turns out sugar is highly addictive (much like tobacco and cocaine) and its ubiquity in the modern diet is not by accident. But you’ll have to read the book to find out how, “and of course, the book is fiction,” Eggleston cautions, “but more often than one realises, art mimics reality and vice-versa, each holding a scary mirror to the other.”

With The Food Mafia quickly gaining major motion picture interest, Steve powered on and completed another co-write with Doctor Kenneth Polke, whose inspired-by memoir was recently published in hardback. It’s an amazing tale of a poor kid growing up in “Bomb City USA,” the once-mafia town of Collinwood (a suburb of Cleveland). Polke survives the pull of organised crime, never starts on his high school football team, and in a Rudy moment goes on to play Quarterback for the world champion Miami Dolphins football team the year after they win every season game, post-season game, and the Super Bowl. A review of the book by Duane Martinz, author of Becoming Your Own Champion, exclaimed: “If you want to achieve your dreams, just make a change, or in any way get more out of your life, then read this book. It’ll help you become the champion of your life. It’s a masterpiece!”

Steve’s diversity is quite extraordinary, and if you’re like me, you’re wondering where his wheelhouse is. I recently received a draft of his co-write with 40-plus year Australian pharmacist Suzanne Ridley, which (hold your hat), is a non-fiction book about Diabetes and health. The working title of the work is Ridley’s Fast Diabetes-free Solution. “It’s one of the most profound and truly inspiration books I’ve ever been asked to help write,” says Eggleston about the yet-to-be published book. “I now live Ridley’s solution even though I’ve never been diagnosed with Diabetes, because it’s actually a holistic book for health. Fasting, low-carb diet, eating healthy, organic food, exercise, sleep, stress management — all are crucial, not only to reversing Diabetes, but to living a long, healthy and happy life.”

Because I see Steve out and about in Somerset, I also know about his cyber-thriller book, Flatline, co-written with an expert in the cybersecurity field, Kevin Swann. It’s just recently been completed and is now undergoing Beta reads and a final polish. “I’ll tell you this,” Eggleston observes, “the dystopian world that George Orwell wrote about in his epic tale, 1984, well, that’s in the rear-view mirror, as is Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World. When I was living in Napa with my brother, Mike Bates, before I got married, we started on a project which we were calling 2084, adding 100 years to the Orwell book, and already half the crazy stuff we were conceiving and writing about is passé. Unfortunately, I’ve been so busy ghosting and co-writing other people’s books, we haven’t had the time to finish it.”

“How are you able to write in so many different genres?” I ask Steve out of curiosity.  “It goes back to when I was a trial lawyer. When you’re working in the legal trenches, you have a dozen even two-dozen cases all running at the same time. And believe me, all of them can be challenging. Opposing lawyers, as a rule, are not friendly people, and judicial decisions can be very unpredictable, as ironic as that is in a system controlled by precedent. Well, you work on one case at a time, and when you are done, you close the file, put it aside and work on the next one. It’s a matter of intense compartmentalization, and it becomes second nature. That’s what I do with my books, compartmentalize them. Perhaps that’s what enables me to be such a chameleon.”

Steve’s ability to compartmentalise, distill issues down to their vital essence and direct the key message precisely where it has to go, is borne out of his very successful legal career. At law school he was Editor of the Law Review and graduated Valedictorian, which means first in his class academically, with the honour of giving his graduating class’ Valedictory address. He went on to be an award-winning Law Professor in the field of Remedies and authored several substantial appellate decisions early in his career, including one establishing an unmarried woman’s right to collect an award for palimony (Watkins v. Watkins). “As a practising attorney, I also wrote, reviewed and edited literally hundreds of legal briefs. Writing and law are often synonymous, and I got the opportunity to work on every kind of dispute, from Breast Implants, Tobacco, and Diet Pills, to investment frauds, oil & gas disputes, medical malpractice, and music and entertainment law. In fact, it is my last big case, over the motion picture and television rights to Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, that launched me into the world of entertainment.

After leaving the practice of law, Steve became the COO of One Roof Entertainment, located at Los Angeles’ vaunted downtown L.A. Center Studios, where movies like Mr. and Mrs. Smith (Pitt – Jolie) were shot. “I remember Angelina hanging from a bungee cord right outside my window one day, like ten meters away. I almost fell out of my chair, and then I rushed outside to meet her between shots!”  In a very short time, he found himself writing three feature film scripts in collaboration with major motion picture studios, and then, by a twist of fate, he landed in Las Vegas (it’s only a short drive from L.A.), as COO of Vegas Rocks Magazine and Media. For the next four years, he covered, photographed and wrote about the biggest bands and celebrities in the world, including The Killers and Imagine Dragons, both of which are from Vegas. “In fact,” Eggleston says, “I booked Imagine Dragons in small shows long before they blew up.”

Eventually Steve would leave Vegas Rocks and strike out on his own, working for some huge music talent. “I was very blessed to be referred to Michael Grimm by my buddy and partner Dan Smith, a phenomenal guitarist in his own right. In 2010, Grimm won America’s Got Talent and a million bucks and he was hot! He toured with Stevie Nicks for a bit and played all across the U.S., but our home base was in Vegas, where he had various residences at casinos such as Caesars. I was also blessed to personally manage and become close friends with legendary music producer Steve Thompson, who weighs in with seven Grammys and 150+plus diamond, platinum, and gold records, including mega-hits like GNR’s Appetite for Destruction and Metallica’s And Justice for All. I even worked with Jack Mack and the Heart Attack Horns for a bit, and one of the best jazz-funk bands I’ve ever seen or heard, Beat Funktion, from Sweden.”

From Valedictorian lawyer, law professor, legal author, trial lawyer, filmmaker, and personal music manager, Steve went on to book over 1000 shows in Vegas and beyond. In doing so, he became immersed in the US celebrity scene which opens many doors and amplifies messages many times over. “But all that is in the past,” Eggleston says, “and in a funny way, I see it as preparing me for where I’m at today. Today I’m writing full-time all the time, except for some very important consultations in cybersecurity for the legal profession and my active participation in the U.S. movement headed by my Food Mafia co-writer, Jon Gordon, to hold a Constitutional Convention that passes the 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution (I just wrote the draft Amendment several weeks ago) that imposes term limits on Congress, prevents Congress from becoming lobbyists, and forever drains the swamp of special interests that have proliferated in Washington like the black plague.”

Steve’s writing is his super-power, but his network is also a major force. If he needs to get influencers on board, he has an enviable little black book to draw on, not to mention his wife, Dana Amma Day, who founded PostiveTV.tv and has worked with, interviewed, or done publicity for everyone from Coldplay and Simple Minds, to the Dalai Lama, Prince Charles and Satish Kumar. “Between us and the people we know, we can usually get to almost anyone. That’s why Nick Cage carried around one of my wife’s movie scripts, The Gastonbury Grail (Nick has a holiday house just up the road from us in Glastonbury), and was actually able to get it back!”

Steve has a half-dozen more ghostwriting and co-writing books coming out early next year, but like all writers for hire is always looking for the next big project. “I love my clients and co-writers and all the absolutely amazing stories they have to tell. My goal is to be the next Andrew Croft, who is possibly the most famous ghostwriter in the world. I want to tell the stories of the famous and the infamous, of justice gone right and justice gone wrong, of families who suffered unfathomable tragedy and those who rose up from the ashes to the highest of heights to find surreal happiness. There are so many people in the world with more money than God. All of them could give back and write a book, tell others how they did it, do something to better the world, and even get a movie made. Sounds self-serving, and maybe it is, but you know what? it’s true!!!”

For anyone whose dream is to get their story told — Steve Eggleston may well hold the key. Email him directly at TheEggman411@gmail.com.

The Extraordinarily Positive Career of Dana Amma Day

dana-portfolio-fb-banner

Few people approach life and career like Dana Amma Day.  When she enters a room, smiles form on faces, and the ol’ lyrics of Louis Armstrong from “What A Wonderful World”  come to mind: “… The colors of the rainbow, So pretty in the sky. Are also on the faces, Of people going by, I see friends shaking hands. Saying, “How do you do?” They’re really saying, “I love you…” In fact, the names of her three daughters are: Georgia aka “Rainbow,” Harmony and Lily.  Of course, I am bias, as I am her husband.

Which is not to say that Dana ignores the harsh reality of the real world.  To the contrary, as the co-founder of PositiveTV.tv, she knows better than most that the pivotal point to positive news is often its polar opposite: tragedy, greed, profit over people, disenfranchisement, and every sort of infringement and usurpation.  Those who know her, and have watched her career unfold, know she’s often the first to blast off a post railing against the latest wrong, as perceived by her or the Positive TV crew: ecocide, Brexit, fracking, Trump or sugar, which she’ll tell you would be classified as poison were scientific tests not falsified or government not compromised over the years.  Reality, by nature, involves the good and the bad.

Manifesting a revolutionary news paradigm, Dana and her team ensure that Positive TV primarily reports on what’s breaking through rather than what’s breaking down. From a local and global perspective, she would contend, there’s a huge amount happening in the world to excite and inspire us, though most of it never gets reported.  Her mission, which she takes to the helm of Positive TV as CEO, “is to reach across generations and energise us with positivity at a time when we may feel overwhelmed by the negative prognosis for the future of humanity and the planet.”

It’s a great time to be alive because this is the generation that gets to change everything,” says author Paul Hawken, words which Dana embraces.  And today, to put content to those words, she landed in Budapest, Hungary, to cover the 20th Anniversary of the Club of Budapest,  which celebrates His Holiness the Dalai Lama and world-renowned thought leaders coming together 20 years ago to sign “The Manifesto on the Spirit of Planetary Consciousness.”

With “hot spots” brought to you by PositiveTV.tv, working in association with BigC TV & Gabriel Jay Cavazos out of the U.S., Dana will sit down with and interview many of the world’s most progressive thinkers on ecology, hunger, poverty, land, food and energy: COB founder Ervin Laszlo, COB Science Director Maria Sagi, and many more.  And when she’s done, she will return to magical Avalon in Somerset, England, to carry on her mission to bring positive news to the world, advance positive brands and ideas, spearhead crowdfunding campaigns for a better world, and generate marketing and publicity for the positive things that matter.

“… Yes, I think to myself, What a wonderful world.  Oh yeah.”

Book: The Food Mafia, by Jon Gordon & Steve Eggleston

Steve Eggleston is one of the most professional writers I have ever dealt with. I spent 21+ years in the motion picture industry and never have I been more impressed with someone’s work ethic, meeting milestones, researching nearly every subject matter in our Novel and going the extra mile to continually improve our joint work. A very rare individual indeed. We actually spent the last three weeks plus working side by side to improve our Novel from very good to what I believe will be a Bestseller. I would be please to personally discuss anything further about Steve with anyone. SIMPLY AN AMAZING INDIVIDUAL!”

FICTION THRILLER

Book: CONFLICTED, by Steve Eggleston (100,000+ words)

Published: 2014 on Peter Miller’s Imprint, Global Lion Publishing; 2016 on Eggman Global Books

Reviews: Front Cover:

– Review by 17x New York Times bestselling thriller author, John Lescroart: “KIiller book.  loved every page of it. CONFLICTED is a total winner on every level. Great courtroom stuff, great characters, great plot, narrative mega-drive and – in Dave Splatter, P.I. – a stand-alone hero for the ages.

Back Cover:

– Review by New York Times bestselling author/former OMNI Editor-in-Chief Keith Ferrell: “Steve Eggleston’s Conflicted is a chilling, funny, moving, shocking thriller and Eggleston keeps every one of those elements in balance as he moves his story at a breakneck pace through as delicious a set of complications, re-complications, and surprises as I’ve seen in a long time. Trip Splatter may well be the most unusual and distinctive investigator to be introduced this decade, and eagerly I look forward to his next adventure.

– Review by Bestselling Author of Bohemian Heart and 1906, James Dalessandro: “If the law ever produced a more colorful character than Steve Eggleston himself, I’d probably be afraid to meet him. Eggleston has taken that colorful, irreverent personae of his – and an encyclopedic knowledge of the law and the characters who pass through that suspense-filled world – and created a character as colorful and outrageous as his name: Trip Splatter. Conflicted is a roller coaster ride through the dark and twisted world of criminals and those who hunt them.

I started reading this book one evening and couldn’t stop reading! The clock rang 4 a.m. and I was still reading. What a gripping, exciting, riveting, sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat story this is! If you like gum shoe detectives flavored with Asian Mafia, you are gonna love this book! I cannot give it more than five stars, but I would if I could! Wish my publishing company would have found this author first!

By Michael Bates on October 26, 2014 Format: Paperback

CONFLICTED is an awesome legal thriller!! I had planned to take my time reading this novel, but then found myself unable to put it down. Steve Eggleston weaves unique characters into an exciting plot with many layers that keep the reader on the edge of their seat. As the first ever American-Asian Sherlock Holmes, Dave “Trip” Splatter P.I. is a real hero worth admiring. The story ends with such an incredible and surprising twist I’ll be talking about this book for years.

By Harris H. Wilder on December 13, 2014 Format: Paperback Verified Purchase

It is rare that a first time author truly nails a genre and shows a natural mastery of the form. Steve Eggleston’s new noir thriller does just that. Eggleston creates a dark reality in which the hero, Trip Splatter, tries to solve an old crime while discovering new ones and embarking on a journey of selfdiscovery. Trip Splatter is a fascinating Chinese-American character with deep issues that haunt and obsess him. In the tradition of Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett, Eggleston has created an updated version of the classic archetype: the hip, addicted and very modern American anti-hero who struggles with past and present traumas that inform and drive the story. Trip Splatter is compulsive, weird and fascinating. The more we discover about him, the more we discover the darkness at the heart of this tale of addiction, corruption and murder. This is a must read for noir fans and I predict this is just the first of Trip Splatter’s adventures. It won’t be long before you see Trip Splatter on the big screen and your preferred media. Enjoy!

DRAMA

“Overcoming Your Adversities,” by Dr. Ken Polke & Steve Eggleston (70,000+ words)

Work: July 2015 – August 2016 (not Upwork, worked at pace of Co-Writer, a practicing doctor)

Rate: $12,500

Status: Before the Editor, to be Released by Bestselling Author of “Create Your Own Destiny” and SelfHelp Marketing/Self-Publishing Guru, Patrick Snow (CreateYourOwnDestiny.com)

Review of Draft Manuscript by Patrick:

– “WOW….I think the book is very, very good! This is the first time that I have seen the manuscript and it is very good…

– “Introduction is absolutely PERFECT!!!! Spot on in that it is about the “reader” and their struggles not about the “author” being the hero.

– “Content of book…although I did not read every bit of the book…I loved what I read and it is quite obvious that Steve is an extremely talented writer. Hence, now that exercises have been added to the manuscript…I would not at all change the manuscript….unless we are really really short on word count…and then maybe Steve and get a few more stories from Ken to be added to the end of the book….just to increase page count…

BIOGRAPHY

I have been writing all my life. It started when I was 13, when I witnessed a friend’s dog get sucked into the wheel well of a passing car. Abhorred, I wrote an essay about the tragedy for my eighth-grade English class. So moved was the teacher that she convinced the Principal to read it over the P.A. to the whole school. A writer was borne.

In law school I became Editor of the Law Review for two years, then graduated Valedictorian and thereafter served as an award-winning law professor. As a practising attorney, I wrote, reviewed and edited literally hundreds of legal briefs. Several of my cases become precedent-setting, reported appellate decisions. In jury trials, I frequently quoted inspirational passages from the great authors, men and women of history, having read hundreds of books in my life’s journey. But after winning millions of dollars in verdicts, I wanted something new, so I transitioned to a full-time entertainment executive position, music manager and now writer.

As COO of One Roof Entertainment, I wrote three feature film scripts in collaboration with major motion picture studios. Then when visiting Las Vegas one weekend, I was tapped to head Vegas Rocks Magazine, where for three years I covered, photographed and wrote about the biggest bands in the world. Ultimately my dear friend, Paul Aratow, co-founder of Chez Panisse and Producer of Sheena, told me to put down the scripts, over which I had continued to toil, and write books instead. So that’s what I did.

Though I had written a popular legal practice book, “Labor & Employment in California,” as a young attorney (it has been in publication and updated annually for 20+ years), it wasn’t until 2014 that I finished my first fiction novel. “CONFLICTED,” a Trip Splatter Novel, met with critical praise from some of the biggest writers in the thriller genre, including most notably 17x New York Times bestseller, John Lescroart, whose review is quoted on the cover of the book.

In August 2016, I finished two new books. The first, “Overcoming Your Adversities,” was cowritten with Dr. Kenneth Polke and tells his story: How a kid from Bomb City USA went from the streets to the mafia to the NFL… before ultimately becoming a doctor. New York Times bestseller Patrick Snow, the author of three-million seller “Create Your Own Destiny,” has taken the book on for marketing and self-publishing. One month later, I completed “The Food Mafia,” written in collaboration with motion-picture veteran Jon Gordon. This book is inspired by the Clemmy’s Ice Cream saga, Jon’s own story about launching a sugar-free ice cream company before being crushed by Big Food and Big Sugar. It is under consideration by a major studio as a potential major motion picture in the vein of John Grisham’s “The Firm” meets “The Insider.” Both “Overcoming your Adversities,” and “The Food Mafia” will be published this year.

In addition to writing books, I have taught collegiate history, politics, ethics, copyright and “understanding the music business.” Because of my diverse and storied background, I am often called upon to provide story and copy editing for books, PhD thesis, academic materials and online platforms of every kind. Most of the time I am disciplined, funny, and creative, priding myself in going above and beyond the call of duty whenever possible.

Recently I am married to Dana Amma Day, co-founder of PositiveTV.tv, with whom I appear in the picture at the top of this Portfiolio. I live alternately between San Francisco and Pilton, England, from which I collaborate with other writers and clients from all over the world.

REWRITE LEGAL ARTICLES (Sept 2014-Oct 2014): Rating: 5.0 “Steve aka The Eggman is a great writer that I had the pleasure of knowing and working with. He is responsive, flexible, and has good knowledge of legal subject matters pertaining to US law, as well as being a good wordsmith. If you need a writer especially for legal subjects, you can’t go wrong with The Eggman.

U.S. ONLY – QUICK LEGAL ARTICLE (Aug 2014): Rating: 5.0 “Steve ABSOLUTELY above and beyond the requirements of the project. The project was a tough one and above that it was required within a very short time frame. Not only was the article very well researched an well written, but it was actually delivered earlier than the deadline. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. Awesome!

ARTICLE ON EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS FOR U.S. EMPLOYEES (June 2014-July 2014): Rating: 4.9 “Steve was fantastic on this job and I definitely recommend him as a freelancer. The article was about a complex and relatively uncovered area of international employment law. Through his own expertise and his network Steve was able to craft a thorough and well written document. It’s exactly what I hoped to get. Note I left a mark of 4 for adherence to schedule because the project took slightly longer to deliver – in fairness to Steve this was because we jointly decided to wait for him to talk to another lawyer about it. He kept me very well informed throughout the work. I hope we can work together in the future on similar projects.

NONPROFIT BYLAWS (APRIL 2014): Rating: 5.0 “My new go-to person for all things legal. What a thorough, meticulous job you did: Over-delivered! And I could not be happier with the finished products, the process, and the person. HIGHLY recommend! Eggman Global Launches Eggman Global UK — Ecology

Ecohustler - Heinz - POEM-ZeppelinZ-01-3.15.12.2012-343x200

As many of you know, I have moved to the magical land of Somerset / Avalon, England, legendary home of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table (youtube.com/watch?v=o3HAIdFy6Is), where I will be married this fall to the lovely Dana Amma Day in Glastonbury. Though keeping offices in Las Vegas, San Francisco and Hollywood, at least for the near future much of my time will be spent here.

With my move, I have now launched Eggman Global UK – Ecology. Our debut management slate includes three visionary and amazing individuals: 1/ Heinz Pahl-Kaupp, the grandfather of German Eco-Architecture, 2/ Dana Amma Day, founder of Consciousness.earth, co-founder of Positivetv.tv, and President of The Club of Budapest – UK, and 3/ Gabriel Jay Cavazos, founder of Arcotu and Cavcon Industries.  All have a life of accomplishments resounding on a global, highly conscious scale.

Among many other honed skills, Heinz Pahl-Kaupp is known far and wide as a visionary architect who reimagines how buildings interact with the natural world, drawing on sacred geometry to inspire new dimensions in the possibility of buildings.  He has designed and inspired some of the most creative, self-sustaining structures in the world, where until recently moving to Brutin, England, he worked from Bali. The banner photo for this article is Heinz’ renowned Zepplin.  See this recent article appearing in Ecohustler: ecohustler.co.uk/2016/07/06/floating-zeppelin-building-inspiring-eco-architecture-best and his website, sacredgeometryarchitecture.com.

Dana Amma Day is a formidable spiritual force directed to enhancing the positivity in all things and projects.  As co-founder of Positivetv.tv, she with her partner have amassed an archive of 600+ positive news stories from around the globe, interviewing everyone from the Dalai Lama, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, and Dr. Barbara Marx Hubbard, to reporting on Satish Kumar’s Education with Hands, Hearts and Heads and Steve Killelea’s Global Peace Index.  Based on her enormous accomplishments, she was recently tapped by Ervin Laszlo and the leadership at The Club of Budapest, to helm The Club of Budapest – UK, whose first project was the resoundingly successful Midsummer Symposium of Consciousness (clubofbudapest.org/clubofbudapest/index.php/en/international-news), where the world’s leading evolutionary thinkers gathered at the stately Tyringham Hall for several days of renaissance (tyringhaminitiative.com).

I had to move to England to sign U.S.-based multi-hyphenate bio-environmental futurist Gabriel Jay Cavazos.  Jay is a revolutionary designer, builder and thinker whose foresight on the world’s environmental evolution lead him to found Arcotu/Cavcon Industries, a company devoted to designing, building and land development with 100% eco-sustainability and zero adverse environmental impact.  See Arcotu.com and dosceproductions.wix.com/cavconindustriesmi.  Jay’s remarkable history, before his profound awakening, included him in such monumental projects as the Fountaine Bleau Casino in Las Vegas.

This team of extraordinary professionals are available individually or collectively to contribute to any project in the world. Contact me at Steve@EggmanGlobal.com to arrange for discussions, proposals, speaking engagements, partnerships and/or consultations.   ~ The Eggman

UN Sets To Honor Broadway Star Shea Arender As Peace Honoree in the Philippines

Shea Arender

Shea Arender

“I came here for a bit of business, and this is just too overwhelming. I am really very thankful and honored for this recognition.”

When Broadway star and producer Shea Arender was offered to host some corporate events in the Philippines, he took it as the perfect opportunity to finally set foot in the country and to personally meet the very popular local TV star Maine ‘Yaya Dub’ Mendoza to discuss a possible collaboration, and for a bit of sightseeing.

Shea also included in his itinerary a visit in Child Haus, a local charitable institution for children with cancer, and the Philippine Institute for the Deaf.

“It was truly an amazing experience,” said the United Nations awardee, who in his own personal way is also an advocate for the welfare of children all over the world.

His visits in these two institutions were very personal and without any fanfares. Unexpectedly, Shea’s gesture impressed SPMUDA (Southern Philippines Muslim Non-Muslim Unity & Development Association, Inc.) International Organization for Peace and Development, a registered NGO (non-government organization) with the United Nations, whose mission is to give every child the right to survive and thrive, to be educated, and to be free from violence.

The Broadway star was very surprised when the organization announced he was chosen as one of their Peace Awardees and Honorees in celebration of Universal Children’s Day with the theme of “Stop Violence Against Children.”

“It was totally unexpected. I still feel like I do not deserve such recognition. I feel that I have now a bigger responsibility to spread awareness that our children is our hope for a better world, and that every children deserves a better future,” said Shea.

For Shea, this is a very good beginning of his ‘love affair’ with the Philippines. “Yes, I fell in love with the Philippines! I am very excited to come back next year to push through with all the projects running inside my head,” the Broadway star happily said in closing.

Attending the ceremony are France UN Ambassador Hon. Gion Gounet, Rep. Rodolfo Biazon, Muntinlupa City Mayor Jaime R. Fresnedi, and DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman, among others, which will be held in Festival Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, this November 20, 2015.

Broadway Star Shea Arender Signs $500,000 Deal in Asia to Broadcast via Satellite

First Grammy ballot artist Shea Arender is no stranger to the concert stage, delivering over 200 performances between 2011 and 2013 with his signature sound —  a melding of adult contemporary and classic pop blended with Vegas-style Rat Pack and Elvis Presley.

He is famously known for producing the Broadway hit musicals, “The Wonderful Wizard of Song,” which he represented at the 68th Annual Tony Awards, and his self-penned Broadway musical, “Prince of Christmas,” which made CBS’s top 5 shows to see on Broadway.

Shea will be taking the center stage as he headlines in Macau via satellite to Malaysia, Korea, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Indonesia. Engaging several symphony orchestras, his exciting productions will be called “Retro Pop Revolution” and “Elvis Uncovered.”

Beginning October 4, 2015, he will deliver ten performances over three weeks in three countries, with additional corporate events and matinees to be announced.

Reported revenues in Macau exceed $30 billion, compared to only $7 billion in Las Vegas, making these shows a potential spectacular success. Add the satellite component and international advertisers and sponsors should expect fantastic results.

“How exciting to play in Asia for the first time and to realize I have such a fan base. I can’t wait to give them my best. I feel like this is just the beginning,”  Arender says in the Las Vegas Tribune interview.

Show highlights available via internet in the USA October 10th, 2015.
